Gnomes! Tier Lists & Priorities

Spend coins wisely while Gnomes! Steal & Escape is still expanding.

Tools Tier List Priority Hub

Welcome to the Tier List Hub for Gnomes! [Steal & Escape] on Roblox. This section is not a frozen meta dump of named items. The experience is a stealth heist loop: break into homes, steal valuables, and escape before the Homeowner catches you. Progression is built around tools, upgrades, quest rewards, and co-op utility. Because the title is still in active early development, inventories and shops will keep changing. Treat every ranking here as a priority framework: a way to decide what to buy or unlock first, not a claim that we have a complete official roster.

If you are brand new, pair this hub with Getting Started, claim the working promo on the Codes page, then return here when you have coins to spend.

How we rank (and what we refuse to invent)

A useful tier list for an early-access heist game answers one question: what improves your next successful escape the most? We weight four pillars:

  1. Tools - gear that helps you enter, move, carry, or break line of sight during a steal.
  2. Upgrades - permanent or semi-permanent boosts that make every run safer or more profitable.
  3. Quest rewards - progress that unlocks systems, areas, or economy milestones instead of one-off fluff.
  4. Co-op utility - picks that help a duo or small party coordinate roles (lookout, carrier, distraction) without forcing solo players to buy useless fluff.

We do not invent specific tool or item names just to fill S/A/B tables. When an official shop label is unclear or still shifting, we describe the job the unlock should do (mobility, silence, carry capacity, detection reduction, escape window) and place that job in a tier. As Sneaky Gnomes ships clearer catalogs, we will rename rows to match in-game wording. Until then, honesty beats fake completeness.

Read the Tools & Upgrades framework next

The deepest page under this hub is the Tools & Upgrades Priority Guide. Open it when you want S/A/B-style frameworks for spend order, early-economy triage, and mid-run investment rules. That page also explains how co-op changes priorities and how to revisit rankings after patches.

Use this hub as the map:

  • Tools & Upgrades Priority Guide - spend-order frameworks without fake item lists
  • Guides Hub - stealth, escape, and quest walkthroughs that explain why a priority matters
  • Codes - free coins that fund your first upgrades (currently RELEASE! for 125 Coins)
  • Controls & Tips - input comfort so ranked gear actually helps in a live heist

Priority philosophy for early access

S-priority means buy or unlock this job as soon as you can afford it, because it raises escape rate or coin-per-minute for almost every run. Typical S jobs in a steal-and-escape loop are anything that shortens risky time in the open, improves getaway consistency, or removes a soft lock on quest progress.

A-priority means strong after your first survival upgrades. These are high value once you stop dying on entry, but they are not the first coin sink if you still fail basic escapes.

B-priority means situational or luxury. Fun, stylish, or niche co-op toys belong here until the meta stabilizes. Do not empty your wallet on B jobs while you still lack reliable tools for stealth and escape.

Parked / watchlist is our honest bucket for systems we know exist (quests, future areas, new tools) but cannot rank with confidence yet. Prefer living watchlists over invented names.

How to use rankings without getting baited

  1. Fund the loop first. Redeem codes, finish early quests, and bank enough coins that one bad heist does not wipe your progress.
  2. Fix failure causes, not screenshots. If you get caught on approach, prioritize stealth and route tools. If you steal fine but die on exit, prioritize escape and how to escape habits before shiny carry upgrades.
  3. Respect co-op roles. In a party, one player may need lookout utility while another needs carry or breach help. The tools guide covers role splits; the stealth tips page covers the play patterns those roles enable.
  4. Re-check after updates. Early-dev patches can reshuffle shops overnight. Bookmark the Updates Hub and re-read this tier section whenever tools or areas change.
  5. Verify the place. Always confirm you are in place 103331563595376 (Gnomes! Steal & Escape by Sneaky Gnomes). Other gnome-steal experiences are not the same progression tree.

Linking priorities to real practice

A tier label is useless if your camera, movement, and party calls are messy. Learn bindings on Controls, rehearse quiet routes with stealth tips, and practice exit discipline in how to escape. Quests often gate better rewards; see quests before you overspend on temporary comfort buys.

Community and official pointers live on the Wiki links page, including the Roblox experience link and the Sneaky Gnomes community. Use those channels to spot patch notes that invalidate an old S-tier assumption.

What will change as the game expands

Expect new tools, upgraded tiers of existing jobs, fresh house layouts, and more quest lines. When that happens we will:

  • Rename framework rows to official item names once they are stable
  • Split niche lists (for example pure co-op gadgets vs solo stealth) if the catalog grows large enough
  • Call out nerfs and buffs on the Updates Hub instead of silently editing ranks

Until those expansions land, treat this hub as your decision layer: earn coins, pick the job that fixes your most common fail, then deepen mastery with guides. It is not a spoiler wiki that pretends to own a finished item database.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for heists, codes, and upgrades.

Why does this tier list avoid naming every tool?

Gnomes! Steal & Escape is still expanding. We rank upgrade jobs and spend priorities instead of inventing a fake complete roster that would mislead players when shops change.

Where should I spend my first coins?

Fund survival and escape consistency first, then profit tools. Follow the S/A/B frameworks on the Tools & Upgrades page and claim RELEASE! on the Codes page for 125 Coins.

Do co-op runs change the tier order?

Yes. Parties can specialize (lookout, carrier, breach), so A-tier utility for a duo may be B-tier for solo. Read the co-op notes inside the tools priority guide.

How often will rankings update?

Whenever patches add tools, areas, or quest rewards. Check the Updates Hub after major drops, then revisit this hub and the tools subpage.
